'elephone' Terms of Sale
Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order and retain a copy of these terms and your order for future reference. By placing an order with elephone you agree to these terms.
1. Description and price of the goods
i. The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on our website or on the eBay / Amazon listing at the time you place your order.
ii. In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods this will be clearly stated before purchase on our website product page or the eBay / Amazon listing.
iii. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
i. Orders placed on elephone.co.uk and via eBay will be processed by PayPal and will appear on your bank statement as PayPal *ELEPHONE. Orders placed via Amazon will be processed by Amazons own payment system.
ii. Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been received and cleared in full.
i. Your order will be delivered to the address you provide when you are completing your payment. Once you have placed your order this cannot be changed.
ii. Orders placed before 2.00 pm on a working day will normally be processed the same day and will be delivered as per the requested delivery option provided no additional security checks are required.
iii. We cannot guarantee that all orders placed before 2.00pm on a working day will be processed that same day unless you have chosen “Express Delivery” on the eBay checkout page.
iv. A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.
v. If a signature is required, or the item will not fit through your letter box, and no one is available to take possession, your item will be returned to your local Royal Mail delivery office for you to collect. Royal Mail will provide details of how to collect your item or re-arrange delivery.
vi. If an item is returned to us by Royal Mail due to non-delivery, you will be charged for the 2nd resend postage costs plus an additional £2 handling fee.
vii. Every effort will be made to deliver your order as soon as possible; however we cannot be held responsible for any loss or delay as a result of Royal Mail. If your item is not delivered within the estimated delivery time, you must inform us of the delay and we will take this up with Royal Mail on your behalf.
3. Your right of cancellation
i. You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 days after you receive the goods (see below).
ii. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt, either via email or phone.
iii. Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address we provide you with via a 'trackable' method of postage. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
iv. We cannot be held responsible for returned items going missing in the post if you have failed to use a 'trackable' method of postage. In the event of a returned item going missing in the post it is your responsibility to take this up with Royal Mail.
i. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods we shall, after receiving notification, provide you with return instructions, on condition that the product is within the guarantee period. Once we receive the return, we will compensate you the actual return postage cost that is stated on the parcel. This will be issued as a refund to your original payment method.
ii. All our goods are warranted free from defects, unless otherwise stated on the product information page or on the eBay / Amazon listing. The warranty length will be clearly stated on this page. In the event of a product developing a fault within the warranty period, you should notify us as soon as possible, and we will arrange for a replacement or refund to be issued. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
iii. This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party.
iv. If the goods supplied to you are damaged or any item is missing / incomplete on delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours.
v. If a product that was faulty at the time of sale is returned to us, you are legally entitled to a full refund or replacement product (depending on stock availability).
vi. It is your responsibility to return goods that develop a fault with all the supplied accessories.
5. Returns Policy

ii. The goods cannot be returned unless you have requested to do so via email or phone.
iii. It is the customer's responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in their possession. If this condition is not met, we reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for restocking and resale. This charge will vary according to the condition of the returned goods. This provision is designed to ensure that returned goods can be resold.
6. Data Protection
i. We will not sell your personal details to third-party organisations under any circumstances.
